Under the patronage of His Excellency the president of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) celebrated the grand reopening of the Cyprus Branch in Limassol and its 15th anniversary in Cyprus on Friday May 27, 2016. A reception was held at the newly relocated branch followed by a gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel (Limassol) attended by H.E. Mr. Harris Georgiades, the minister of Finance, representing His Excellency the President, H.E. Mrs. Chrystalla Georghadji, the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Abdel Karim Kabariti, Chairman of JKB’s Board of Directors, Mr. Faisal Al-Ayyar, KIPCO’s Executive Vice Chairman, members of the Board of Directors and members of the Bank’s executive management. Also in attendance were government officials and dignitaries representing Jordan, Cyprus and Kuwait.During the gala dinner held later that evening, H.E. Mr. Harris Georgiades welcomed the Bank’s honorable guests, pointing out the strong and historical bilateral relations between both countries and the importance of Jordan Kuwait Bank’s presence in Cyprus. His Excellency congratulated JKB on its achievements and excellent results over 40 years and for establishing strong credentials based on credibility and reliability, and sharing one common vision.He stressed that the government and the authorities of Cyprus will continue to work hard in order to ensure that Cyprus remains a stable, safe and attractive destination for business economic activity and investment.Mr. Kabariti spoke at the gala dinner and expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency the president of the Republic of Cyprus for accepting the Bank’s invitation to hold the events under his honorable patronage; demonstrating the good relations that Jordan and Cyprus enjoy. He also paid tribute to H.E. Mr. Georgiades for delivering an impressive turn around in the Cypriot economy during the recent years under the leadership of His Excellency President Anastasiades. Mr. Kabariti thanked H.E.
