Jordan Kuwait Bank promotes and maintains the physical and mental health of its employees by supporting the local communities in Jordan, raising awareness of the importance of environmental preservation, promoting tourism culture, and discovering new sites.   The Bank, in partnership with the Jordan Trail Association, organized the 675km  “Jordan Trail” event from Umm Qais in the North to Aqaba in the South on Friday and Saturday, October 7 and 8, 2022. Over 150 employees participated in 15 groups to complete the trail within a record time. This makes JKB the first bank and institution to complete the trail in less than two days. All participating employees underwent intensive training by specialized trainers from “B-Adventure”, to assess their fitness levels, and provide them with important safety instructions and trail fundamentals, which in turn contributed to the successful completion of the “Jordan Trail”. The trail encompassed hosting employees in community houses, in which provided support and raised awareness of the importance of including all communities in our initiatives. As souvenirs, the Bank purchased 15 dolls wearing the traditional costume from each region of Jordan; made and sewn by Jordanian women and gifted to the homeowners. Proceeds from the purchase these dolls will be allocated to Badwa Center for Special Education. The Jordan Trail Association is a non-governmental, and non-profit association. Participation in this event supports the development of the Jordan Trail and the local community.
