As part of its social responsibility and commitment towards sustainable development, and in supporting civil society institutions, Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans (2022 – 2025), aiming to support and empower the youth of Al Aman Fund. Within the strategic partnership, JKB will support a group of orphans who spent most or all their childhood in Ministry of Social Development orphanages, in addition to those who are supported by orphan associations registered under the Ministry of Social Development, and who are living with a parent or an extended family member in difficult circumstances. This support includes funding for university education and capacity-building programs. The program partners with universities in the Kingdom to provide educational scholarships to orphaned students within the required academic pathways according to Al Aman Fund criteria, as well as materials and resources to facilitate the learning journey and keep up with the digital evolution.  At the capacity-building program level, JKB provides orphaned students with the cognitive and behavioral skills to sharpen their individuality, combined with employment opportunities, organizational networks, and education, to enable them to enter the labor market.   Mr. Haethum Buttikhi – Chief Executive Officer at Jordan Kuwait Bank – confirmed that the partnership builds on JKB’s role in  national development and community-level responsibility, and Al Aman Fund will play a role in the future of orphans’ lives. We believe in important and unique roles, to help orphans of all genders enter the labor market, empower them, provide them with an academic education, and provide them with the skills they need to become productive and positive individuals; capable of earning sustainable livelihoods. By providing them with the ability, we open promising opportunities for them. Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans is one of Her Majesty Queen Rania’s initiatives to support orphans across the Kingdom by providing academic and vocational education, living expenses, health insurance, counselling, guidance, self-development, and capacity building throughout the scholastic year.
