Jordan Kuwait Bank, represented by CEO Haethum Buttikhi, has signed a strategic partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, represented by General Manager Nisreen Qatamish. As part of this agreement, the bank has pledged a donation to the King Hussein Cancer Center endoscopy department, which is currently under construction in Aqaba. In recognition of this generous contribution, the waiting room in the department will be named after Jordan Kuwait Bank.
Additionally, the bank renewed its scholarship fund under the foundation’s name, dedicated to the Foundation's scholarship program. This initiative aims to cover university education costs for high school students undergoing treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center who need financial assistance to continue their higher education or vocational training. This effort underscores the bank's commitment to social responsibility, enhancing healthcare, and supporting the fight against cancer.
Buttikhi expressed his keenness in continuing the bank’s cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, which is nationally recognized for its high-quality patient services. He highlighted that the bank's support for establishing the university scholarship fund for the center’s patients aligns with its mission and strategy, emphasizing social responsibility to support sustainable development across all governorates of the Kingdom.
Qatamish expressed her deep appreciation for Jordan Kuwait Bank's role in supporting the Foundation’s initiatives and programs. She noted that this partnership will enhance the medical services provided to cancer patients and offer comprehensive care, including psychological and academic support.
This cooperation is part of Jordan Kuwait Bank’s broader efforts to enhance healthcare in Jordan and achieve sustainable development through strategic partnerships with both the public and private sectors.
